About Us
I have been involved with equines, since 1986. That is when I got my first pony as my birthday gift.
My husband is fairly new to equines; he shares the same passion as I do for them. Our two
daughters are both equine addicted and animal lovers. In 2004 we start our journey down the wild
road, by taking in 3 BLM mustangs. We quickly fell in love with these beautiful creatures and have
become wild horse advocates for former wild horses and burros. Our goal at CFA is to provide
resources, adopter's help to people who have adopted former wild horses and burros. Knowledge is
the key to a happy adoption and resources is what people need.
I hope in 2009-2010 to apprentice with Phil Morarre, the owner of "Soft Touch Natural Horse Care"
After that I hope to start up my own hoof care practice that will Focus on donkey hoof care (I will
also trim horses)
I been involved in 4-H and FFA as a child and teenager, and through careful thought we decided to
raise poultry and waterfowl to breed and sale in time.
Many blessings,
Erika
